Description
MuchBoost D4FB Upgraded Turbocharger with a Custom Billet Compressor Wheel and a Clipped/Enlarged Turbine Wheel. It is based on an original BorgWarner Turbocharger, which means that the installation is 100%P&P. The turbocharger is meant to work with Hyundai i30, Accent, Elantra, Kia Stonic, Cee’d, and Soul with the D4FB 1.6D 90-128HP engines.
The turbo delivers up to 222% power (110 extra HP) over the factory specs. It is a great choice for someone looking for a bit extra HP from their daily driver. MuchBoost turbo allows you to get more from your engine and enjoy it even more than you’ve been so far.
We have developed 2 modification options that allow you to reach anywhere from 180HP to 200HP.
MuchBoost D4FB 180
Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated 180HP at the crank. List of modifications:
- The potential 180HP,
- Fast spool thanks to Custom Billet Compressor Wheel,
- Clipped and Lightened Genuine Turbine Wheel,
- High air-fuel ratio including high peak torque achieved at low engine speeds,
- The compressor and turbine wheels are balanced separately, and then the whole core is high-speed balanced using VSR balancing machines at speeds similar to the level seen in the vehicle.
- Genuine BorgWarner compressor housing,
- Genuine BorgWarner exhaust manifold,
- Genuine BorgWarner bearing housing,
- Genuine BorgWarner wastegate,
- Upgraded Journal bearing system that allows holding more boost,
- Perfectly calibrated VNT system + dynamically balanced. We use a modern VISCOM flow bench and Schenck balancing machines,
- Original actuator,
- Precisely machined compressor housing & seal plate.
MuchBoost D4FB 200
Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated potential of 200HP at the crank. Modifications compared to the 180 option are the same except:
- Enlarged Billet Compressor Wheel,
- Larger Turbine Wheel,
- Precisely machined exhaust housing.
Other significant modifications
The turbo is meant to work with ~180-200HP In order to reach that level of power, you need to adjust your fuel, exhaust, and cooling systems as well.
A set of gaskets is included with the turbo!

Matters you should be aware of when placing your order.

- The warranty is 12 months without the limit of mileage.
- We need around 2 weeks to perform and ship the upgraded turbocharger. In some complicated cases, it may take up to 3 weeks. Please realize that the turbo upgrades require precision. Especially, the machining process takes a lot of time. We don`t cut the corners. Thank you for understanding. The parcels in the European Union are shipped via DPD for just 25,00 EURO. UPS is used for orders besides the EU, it costs 99,00 EURO and 49,00 to the UK (DHL). The average delivery time is 3-5 working days.
- Every parcel is fully insured.
