Mercedes AMG M177 - 714 WHP Performance Build

This project, completed by GT Performance, highlights the capabilities of the M177 engine platform. The car achieved 714 WHP and 1003 Nm of torque using a carefully selected set of upgrades.

The MuchBoost hybrid turbo upgrade plays a central role in increasing airflow and unlocking additional power. The system is designed to work efficiently within a performance-oriented setup without requiring excessive modifications.

Supporting upgrades include ECU, TCU and CPC tuning, which optimize how the engine and transmission operate together. The car also features upgraded downpipes and a custom intake system to improve airflow.

The setup runs on E20 fuel, providing improved combustion characteristics compared to standard fuel. Notably, the build does not rely on additional fuel pumps or water methanol injection, yet still delivers strong and consistent results.

This project shows that well-matched components and proper tuning can achieve impressive performance without overcomplicating the setup.
