Kia / Genesis 3.3 T-GDI Twin Turbo with MuchBoost Hybrid Turbos – 544 WHP Performance Build

The 3.3 T-GDI Twin Turbo engine is widely regarded as one of the most impressive modern V6 powerplants to come out of Korea. With its strong internals, efficient factory turbo system, and excellent tuning potential, it provides a perfect foundation for serious performance upgrades.

In this project, the objective was to significantly increase the performance of the 3.3 T-GDI platform using a properly engineered MuchBoost hybrid turbo upgrade, while maintaining reliability and drivability. The result is an outstanding build from our friend Anas Salameh in Dubai, proving just how much potential this engine truly has.

After the full upgrade and professional calibration, this car achieved impressive results:
– 544 WHP
– 614 Nm of torque

These numbers place the 3.3 T-GDI firmly in the high-performance category, competing with much more exotic and expensive platforms.

Stock Performance

From the factory, the 3.3 T-GDI Twin Turbo engine already delivers strong performance in vehicles such as the Kia Stinger GT and Genesis G70/G80. With its twin-turbo V6 layout, it offers smooth power delivery and excellent drivability.

However, the stock turbochargers and supporting systems become a limiting factor when targeting significantly higher power levels, especially beyond the 450–500 HP range.

Upgraded Performance with MuchBoost

After installing the MuchBoost 3.3 T-GDI Hybrid Turbo Upgrade and completing the full supporting modifications and tuning, this build reached:

After Upgrade Performance:
– 544 WHP
– 614 Nm

This demonstrates how much untapped potential is hidden in the 3.3 T-GDI platform when paired with the right turbocharger solution and supporting hardware.
