The Ford Focus ST MK2 has long been a favorite platform among performance enthusiasts thanks to its lightweight chassis, strong aftermarket support, and excellent tuning potential. In this project, the goal was to build a high-power yet reliable setup using a properly engineered MuchBoost RNC-RS Hybrid Turbo upgrade. After the full build and calibration, the engine achieved:
– 497 HP at the crank
– 582 Nm of torque
– 1.7 bar of boost pressure

These numbers place this Focus ST far beyond typical street builds and into serious high-performance territory.

Stock Performance

From the factory, the Focus ST MK2 is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five engine producing:
~225 HP
~320 Nm

While the engine is known for its character and strong sound, the stock turbocharger and internal components limit its performance potential when aiming for power levels approaching 500 HP.

Upgraded Performance with MuchBoost

After installing the MuchBoost RNC-RS Hybrid Turbocharger and completing a comprehensive engine build with supporting modifications, the car achieved:
